Core Powertrain

The 2024 Toyota Wildlander showcases Toyota’s fifth-generation THS plug-in hybrid powertrain. It combines a 2.5L Atkinson cycle engine with a dual-motor system, providing two power layouts: single-motor two-wheel drive (combined power of 160kW) and dual-motor four-wheel drive (combined power of 163kW). The vehicle includes an E-CVT continuously variable transmission. In addition, the upgraded 20.6kWh battery offers an NEDC pure electric range of 125km. It also supports DC fast charging and features a 3.3kW external discharge function, further enhancing its versatility.

Toyota Wildlander Lineup

The 2024 model is available in three plug-in hybrid versions, each tailored to specific needs:

• 2WD Power Edition: This version comes with basic features and includes the TSS 3.0 Intelligent Safety System and L2-level assisted driving as standard. It is ideal for urban commuting and household use.

• 4WD Power Edition: With the E-Four electronic four-wheel-drive system and an independent motor at the rear axle, this version improves passability in challenging road conditions. It is designed for mild off-road activities and offers greater flexibility.

• 4WD Excite Edition: As the top model, this version offers new features such as ventilated and heated seats, a 220V on-board power port, and a 360° panoramic camera. These additions make it highly suitable for outdoor adventures.

Exterior and Design

The striking blackened trapezoidal center grille, “X”-shaped front design, slender LED headlight clusters, and penetrating taillights combine to create a bold and sporty appearance.

The body dimensions are 4665×1855×1680mm, with a wheelbase of 2690mm. Additionally, the vehicle comes standard with 18-inch wheels and crossover-style anti-scratch material surrounds, which enhance its rugged and dynamic look.

Intelligent and safety features

• Driver Assistance: The TSS 3.0 system is standard across all models. It includes pre-collision safety, full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and other essential functions. Some models even support lane-changing with the use of turn signals.

• Interactive Technology: The Wildlander features a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 10.25-inch center control screen. It supports Huawei HiCar connectivity and OTA upgrades. A new HUD head-up display has also been added for better convenience.

The interior impresses with soft-touch materials, two-tone stitching, and wood grain veneer accents. It comes standard with faux leather/leather hybrid seats, offering power adjustment for added comfort.

The rear row can be folded down in a 4/6 ratio, while the trunk provides 580L of storage space. Additionally, the roof can be fitted with an optional luggage rack, expanding the vehicle’s carrying capacity.
